OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2015. Serial production of the estate car Lada Vesta Cross will begin at the plant Lada Izhevsk on September 25th, 2016. It was announced by President of AVTOVAZ, Bo Andersson.

According to preliminary data, the first new product will be available only with front wheel drive, but all-wheel drive version of "Vesta" is also considered, writes the newspaper "AvtoSreda." In addition to the version Cross, AvtoVAZ also plans to launch a series of conventional estate car Vesta.

The prototype of estate car Lada Vesta Cross was presented in August of this year. Most likely, the engines of serial version of the model will be the same as the sedan. In this case, estate car will get 1.6-liter engines with capacity of 87, 106 and 114 hp.
