OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2015. Ford Brazil announced the results of the Brazilian stage of Ford’s Innovate Mobility contest, called Sao Paulo City Challenge. The student Gabriel Arajo, 20, was the winner with the Muvall app, proposing guides to integrate public transportation, cars and other modals such as the use of the carpooling system.

The second place was the MOBQI app. Developed by Ernani Machado, the software gathers several functionalities such as bus tracking, information about taxis, shopping, sending alerts to the police and interaction with other services.

The third place was given to the Vita App, created by Enrique Maelgarejo and his team. It provides guidelines for users (drivers, cyclists, hitchhikers, taxi and public transportation system users) so they can choose the best available routes in real time.

The Sao Paulo Mobility Challenge had a record of 200 participants.
