Oracle Helps Burger King Meet Regulatory Compliance Requirements
In order to quickly comply with new federal, state, and country regulations from the Brazilian Revenue Office for electronic invoicing for direct taxing, Burger King selected the Oracle Cloud Platform, specifically Oracle Java Cloud and Oracle Database Cloud services. It was the only cloud solution that addressed Burger King’s ease of use, quick deployment and cost requirements. Using the Oracle Cloud Platform, Burger King was able to deliver the entire project in three days and has been able to meet the compliance deadline and avoid penalty, as well as achieve savings of 50 percent and decreased IT costs by 60 percent based on an on-premise IT model.
