OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2015. Clarin, Argentina’s largest national newspaper, published the results of the Merco corporate reputation rankings: The Top 100 Best Corporate Reputation & Top 100 Best Corporate Responsibility and Good Governance rankings.

The Merco rankings are performed by the Instituto de An?lisis e Investigaci?n (Institute of Analysis and Investigation) from Spain and audited by KPMG consultant. They are a multi-stakeholder research. This year the analysis included the opinion of 409 business leaders, 434 experts (financial analysts, NPO representatives, union leaders, consumer associations, journalists, university professors, CSR opinion leaders) and 2,271 consumers.

Ford Argentina was ranked among the TOP 10 companies with best reputation for the first time. Our company obtained the 8th position in this year’s general ranking. The analysis highlighted Ford’s ascension to the top 10 as “the most outstanding of the sector”. After Mercedes Benz and Toyota, Ford is the #3 automaker in this year’s ranking, compared to 2014 when it obtained the #6 position.

Additionally, Ford achieved the #11 position among all sectors in the Best Corporate CSR & Good Governance ranking, in which it was the first OEM. The ranking analyzes several factors such as ethical behavior, good governance and transparency, human resources practices, commitment towards environment and climate change, and community contribution.

With these new recognitions, Ford Argentina continues to position itself as a well-reputed company according to consumers and opinion leaders in the country.
