OREANDA-NEWS. New models Audi RS 6 Avant performance and Audi RS 7 Sportback performance will appear at the Russian dealers in the first quarter of 2016. New items received heavy-duty power unit. Now the engine 4.0 TFSI develops 605 hp and it has the additional function of short-term gain power.

Two models of the Audi RS accelerates up to 100 km / h as supercars (just for 3.7 seconds), which is faster by 0.2 seconds than the basic models Audi RS. To accelerate up to 200 km / h it needs only 12.1 seconds, or 1.4 seconds less than at the basic model. In case of order of the dynamic package the top speed increases from 250 to 280 and 305 km / h, respectively. Despite the increase in power consumption in the ECE cycle of these models with bi-turbo V8 engine of 9.6 and 9.5 l / 100 km, respectively (emissions of CO2: 223 and 221 g / km).

The standard 8-speed tiptronic was reconfigured to add a sporty for new models. Now, the driver can choose between D and S modes or shift gears manually by moving the selector lever or switches on the multifunction sports steering wheel RS.
