OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2015. From January 2015, the Governing Council of the European Central Bank will analyse and make decisions on monetary policy at the meetings held every six weeks. The meetings addressing matters not relating to monetary policy will continue to be held at least once a month.

Decisions on the official interest rates for the euro area are announced in a press release and explained at the press conference held immediately after the Governing Council meeting.
