OREANDA-NEWS. The Japanese company Fujikura Automotive Europe opened the plant for the production of cables for automobiles in Cheboksary. Recall, an agreement was signed by the Government of the Chuvash Republic and the "Fujikura Automotive Cheboksary Rus" in December of 2014.

The new plant for the production of wiring harnesses will supply the products to the automotive group Volkswagen. Investments in the project were over 260 million Rubles, informed the press service of the Administration of the Head of the Chuvash Republic. During the pilot phase of the project it will be created up to 400 jobs. Today the company already employs 125 people, many of them trained in the European branches of the company Fujikura.
