OREANDA-NEWS. A new Global Survey on Trade Facilitation and Paperless Trade Implementation, was published today by the five United Nations Regional Commissions (UNRC).

It aims to enable UNRC countries to better understand and monitor progress in trade facilitation, support evidence-based policy-making, and highlight the needs for capacity building and technical assistance.

The IRU welcomes the survey which reiterates the importance of IRU’s focus on paperless data exchange through eTIR, and which is also fully in line with IRU’s commitment to boost trade facilitation and transport through the implementation of TIR.
