OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", in September of 2015 in Moscow it was sold 28,834 used cars. Among them 25390 vehicles (88%) were foreign cars.

The most popular foreign car in Moscow city, as well as in Russia as a whole, is the Ford Focus. For the last month 1090 of "Focus" cars changed their owners in the capital. This similarity in the automotive preferences of Muscovites and residents of the rest of Russia is over by this fact.

In the second place among the foreign used cars in Moscow – there is Opel Astra (522 units) and the third place is occupied by Skoda Octavia (512 units). The fourth position – is at Mercedes-Benz E-Class (488 units), the fifth - at the Volkswagen Passat (460 units). The top-10 also included the BMW 5-series (420 units), Hyundai Solaris (349 units), Daewoo Nexia (343 units), BMW 3-series (333 units) and Mitsubishi Lancer (330 units).

According to the director of the agency "AUTOSTAT", Sergey Tselikov, in Moscow, the share of cars of premium brands is approximately two times higher than outside the Moscow Ring Road. Thus, if in Russia it is sold in average three used cars per one new one, then in Moscow, the ratio is about 1: 1.5.
