OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank CIB and PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel signed an agreement on the provision of a 10-year loan for worth USD 1.2 bln[3]. The company plans to use the funds for general corporate purposes.

"Sberbank is a long-standing strategic partner of MMC Norilsk Nickel. This year, together with the Bank, we have completed a number of high priority projects. We intend to continue strengthening this mutually beneficial partnership," commented Sergey Malyshev, Vice President and Head of the Economics and Finance Block at Norilsk Nickel.

Kirill Polishkin, Senior Managing Director, Deputy Head of the Client Management Department of Sberbank CIB, commented: "This deal reaffirms the long-term business relations between Sberbank and MMC Norilsk Nickel. This is one of several successful projects that have been completed this year with the support of the Bank. This summer the Group was provided with 60 billion roubles worth of lending resources and an automated cash management treasury model, which around 50 of the Group's companies are currently connected to. We are always willing to use the Bank's full potential and capabilities to provide clients with the full suite of modern financial solutions."
