OREANDA-NEWS. Only 23% of owners of not guarantee cars in Russia apply to the services of maintenance and repair of the car to the authorized dealers. Almost a third (32%) at the end of the guarantee period begin to make service by themselves: technical service and repair. Another 21% apply to the familiar mechanics, private traders, slightly more (24%) do it on independent service stations (NLRB). Such data was received by experts of the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, when summed up the survey, which was conducted in August of 2015 in conjunction with the service of responses to automobile questions of BLAMPER.RU.

The study was conducted among motorists to determine consumer preferences in servicing of their post-warranty cars. The survey was attended by more than 3,000 respondents from all over Russia.

As a reason why they refuse service at dealerships, car owners often called the high cost of the work (60% of respondents). Cheating and non-implementation of paid work were indicated by 12% of respondents. Some of them tied the refusal with "low-quality work" - 11%. Other respondents complained that "the center is located far from the place of residence", - another 11%. The number of other reasons was named by 6% of respondents.
