OREANDA-NEWS. The company "Lifan Motors Rus" plans to sell in Russia not less than 15 thousand cars at the end of 2015. The agency "AUTOSTAT" was informed about it by the Deputy General Director of "Lifan Motors Rus", Vyacheslav Galuzinsky, by noting that in the future the company intends for the further strengthen of its leadership in the market and to increase the share as among Chinese brands, so in the whole market.

"We are confident that our position in the Russian market will be strengthened, including through the strengthening of economic cooperation between Russia and China. Of course, we do not forget that first and foremost the automotive market as a whole will be affected by the purchasing power of the population. Start of production at our plant in Lipetsk region will allow us to have a more flexible approach to the needs of Russian customers, so we plan to sell about 60 thousand cars per year, "- said Vyacheslav Galuzinsky.

Recall, Lifan is the best-selling Chinese brand in Russia the fifth consecutive year. In the first nine months of 2015 Russian dealers of Lifan sold 8890 cars, which is less by 44% compared to the same period of the last year.

Despite the decrease in consumer activity, "Lifan Motors Rus" launched to the market Lifan X50 and Lifan X60 CVT this year. In addition, the company plans to introduce soon in the Russian market two new models - Lifan Cebrium CVT and a new sedan Lifan Solano are passing the certification at the moment.

"The situation in the market this year can be regarded as an investment in the future.
