OREANDA-NEWS. October 16, 2015. Ford Truck Operations launched in Brazil a new national service campaign for the transporter business. With a complete-service philosophy, Ford will offer for fleets, and autonomous heavy truck drivers, a package which includes the tracking and monitoring system (FordTrac), Ford Service’s maintenance plan, 24-hour S.O.S. Assistance and Technical Support by Disk Ford, aiming to increase economy, safety and profitability conditions to the sector.

The new services were developed by Ford based on its experience and partnership with customers, knowing their concerns and the factors that hold the biggest financial impacts in the fleet’s operation. The list of items include logistics management, fixed fuel and tire costs, drivers’ performances, preventive maintenance, the fluctuation in pieces prices, ways to make payments and credit approval, corrective maintenance and unavailability of trucks were considered.
