OREANDA-NEWS. St. Petersburg plant "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus" produced the one millionth car on October 12th. This figure has been reached less than for 5 years from the start of mass production in January of 2011. Jubilee car was white Hyundai Solaris with the top equipment Elegance, informed the press service of "Hyundai Motor CIS".

Despite the difficult conditions in the Russian automotive market, the plant "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus" is working stably without cutting staff, and it has already started the plan realization  to launch a new model of a compact crossover Hyundai Creta, scheduled for 2016. Currently, the company is already working to expand the production shops; it will be installed additional equipment in the plant the next year.

"Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus" is one of the largest car manufacturers in Russia. The annual production volume exceeds 200 thousand cars. It was installed the most modern industrial equipment, including 185 robots, by providing high quality of vehicles. The level of localization of automotive components is 46%. The plant employs more than 2,200 people.
