OREANDA-NEWS. The most popular foreign car in Russia, Hyundai Solaris, continues to lead the ranking of bestsellers. In September, this model has set a new sales record for the month among foreign cars in the Russian market.

According to the review of the Russian car market in September, the best-selling model in Russia is Hyundai Solaris with 11006 cars (+ 10%). The second result is shown by so-platform KIA Rio - 10822 sold cars (+ 69.5%). Thus, Lada Granta, whose sales were 8597 cars (-49.2%), fell again to the third place. The best-seller in the market of estate cars is occupied by Lada Largus, which was sold in the amount of 3,992 units (-6.2%). Sales of sedan Volkswagen Polo in the last month were 3838 units (-5,3%), Renault Logan - 3610 cars (-36%). Leadership among SUV models is held by Renault Duster, which was sold in amount of 3274 units (-42.1%). Slightly less was showed by SUV Lada 4x4 - 3176 cars (-41%). Renault Sandero Hatchback found 3160 buyers, which is more by 10.4% than a year ago. The last in the top-10 of best selling models in Russia is Chevrolet Niva at this time, whose sales were 2827 cars (+ 2.1%).
