OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers of Geely sold 1630 cars in September, which is mode by 30% than a year ago. Thus, Geely tops the list of Chinese automakers in Russia during the second consecutive month.

According to Geely, the company continues to increase steadily the volume of sales in the Russian market the third consecutive month, as a result for the third quarter it was sold 4284 cars in Russia – it is more by 12% than the year before. For the first nine months of 2015 sales of Geely in the Russian market were 8107 cars (-38%).

As the CEO of Geely in Russia, Igor Ovsyannikov, noted, the first half of this year was held in a rather busy schedule for Geely in Russia, as for many automakers. However, in the third quarter, the company managed to achieve sustained growth in sales, despite the general negative trend of the market, which indicates the growing popularity of the brand Geely among consumers.
