OREANDA-NEWS. Experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the structure of the market for new and used cars in the Volga Federal District (PFD) and they made the top-10 of the most popular models.

The most demanded new passenger car in the Volga region is LADA Granta. For 8 months of 2015 it was appeared 30799 new "Granta" cars in the road of Volga region. In the second place there is Korean KIA Rio - 17226 units. The third place is occupied by Hyundai Solaris – 12,290 cars. The fourth and fifth places are again belonged to the production of AvtoVAZ - LADA Kalina (12396 units) and LADA Largus (6918 units). The top-10 of the most popular new car in the Volga region also includes Renault Logan (6606 units) and Duster (6229 units), Chevrolet Niva (5885 units), Datsun on-DO (5276 units) and Volkswagen Polo (4854 units).

But in the car market of used cars in the Volga region it is recorded the full and unconditional domination of AVTOVAZ. There are different models LADA from the first to the eighth places - 2114, 2110, 2107, 2112, 2109, 2121 (Niva), 2115, 2170 (Priora). Only nine and ten places are occupied by the foreign auto industry - Ford Focus and Daewoo Nexia.
