Escher to provide second digital platform to UK Local Enterprise Partnership
The platform, to be known as the Growth Hub, will act as a single point of reference with multi-channel accessibility. It will provide London's 800,000 SMEs with access to vital government and local business support and information.
The platform is an integral component of the Greater London Authority's plan to facilitate collaboration amongst local and national businesses and to drive economic growth in the UK capital.
The contract has been won in partnership with Browser London, a London based digital agency, who will be overseeing the discovery phase and design of the project. Their experience in creating and developing web products will ensure that the Growth Hub is thoughtfully designed and founded on user research.
The LLEP will be the second digital Growth Hub that Escher will be developing in the UK, after securing the contract to deliver the Growth Hub for the North East Enterprise Partnership in April 2015.
Escher will deliver the digital communications platform using its innovative RiposteTrEx™ technology. This RiposteTrEx™ technology can offer features such as federated identity, secure messaging, license management and transactions services.
Plans for the digital Growth Hub also include a comprehensive events calendar and a dynamic search tool which can be incorporated into Escher's easily scalable system which aligns with the long term aspirations of the LLEP to develop the platform further.
Liam Church, Escher Chief Executive said:
"This is the second time in seven months we have been selected to provide a digital platform for a local enterprise partnership in the UK. It demonstrates that our RiposteTrEx™ technology is not only capable of keeping up with the changing digital climate, but it strives to deliver secure digital communications to a variety of businesses and authorities.
"It is exciting to see the expansion of digital Growth Hubs in the UK and we are looking forward to providing the LLEP with a smart digital ecosystem to improve their communication efficiencies."
