OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2015. Volkswagen has adjusted the price of new cars on the background of the devaluation of the ruble. Tiguan and Touareg went up by 3%, and the Passat sedan became more expensive by 5%, the representative of the Russian office of the brand informed "Za rulem.RF". The company noted that the price of Polo and Jetta models remained unchanged.

For example, prices for the Polo start at 555,000 rubles, Jetta - from 789 thousand rubles, Passat - from 1.339 million rubles. Crossover Tiguan is available for minimum of 1,159,000 rubles, and Touareg - from 2.645 million rubles. Prices do not include special offers.

At the end of eight months of 2015 Russian dealers of Volkswagen sold 49152 cars – it is less by 42% than in the same period of the last year. Best-selling brand in Russia is still model Polo, whose sales were 27,540 vehicles (-32%).
