OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank has issued more than 28 mln Sberbank-Maestro "Social" cards for pensioners; the number of cards increased by 2.5 mln last year, and by 2 mln since the beginning of 2015.

"The Sberbank-Maestro 'Social' card provides convenient access to your pension," said Director of the Bank Card & Cash Services Department at Sberbank, Rostislav Yanykin. "In addition, cardholders earn 3.5% on their account balance and have access to the standard banking services."

The Sberbank-Maestro "Social" card has no annual fee. The card is protected by an encrypted chip. Cardholders can take advantage of discounts and special offers from Sberbank partners and all of the possibilities the "Thank You From Sberbank" bonus program.

Sberbank's "Golden Years" program is a comprehensive offering of banking products developed especially for pensioners. The program allows pensioners to easily and quickly receive their pension on their card without waiting in line, and to manage their finances, complete payments, and open deposits with better rates without leaving their home.
