Cubic’s New Technologies Named as Finalists for CONNECT’s 28th Annual Most Innovative New Product Awards
Cubic Global Defense’s Javelin Simulator is a portable guided weapon system now used by the U.S. Marine Corps and other U.S. and allied armed forces worldwide. The Javelin Simulator is the first simulator of its type to use geo-pairing (relative position between a shooter and a target) and mediated/augmented reality in force-on-force ground combat training and is leading the way for geo-pairing technology across multiple platforms.
Cubic Transportation System’s Mobile App is a user-friendly solution that brings together traditionally separate transit management services into a single application for one integrated user experience.
“Cubic strives to develop and invent ground-breaking products and solutions that will help solve the challenges our customers face in the defense and transportation industries,” said Bradley H. Feldmann, president and chief executive officer of Cubic Corporation. “This year’s selected finalists of the MIP awards represent some of the best new products in different industries and we are proud to have both our defense- and transportation-related solutions listed as finalists for two consecutive years.”
Finalists were selected from the following eight categories: Aerospace, Security & Cyber Technologies; Cleantech; Communications & IT; Life Science Diagnostics & Research Tools; Mobile Apps; Pharmaceutical Drugs & Medical Devices; Software & Digital Media; and Sport & Active Lifestyle Technologies.
Winners for each category will be recognized on the evening of December 1 at the 2015 Most Innovative New Product Awards presentation and dinner. For a complete list of winners and additional information, please visit the Most Innovative New Product Awards Website.
