OREANDA-NEWS. DIXY Group – one of Russia’s leading retailers of foods and everyday products – announced unaudited IFRS results for the second quarter and the first half of 2015.

Key Highlights of the second quarter and the first half of 2015:
* For the first half of 2015, the Company opened 271 stores on net basis. As of June 30, 2015, the Company operated 2,466 stores in Central, North-West, Volga and Urals federal districts of Russia.
* Selling Space increased by 25% year-on-year to 827,227 sq. m as of June 30, 2015.
* Revenue increased by 19.0% (declined by 20.9% in USD) year-on-year to RUB 68.0 bln (USD 1.3 bln) in the second quarter of 2015, and grew by 23.1% (declined by 25.0% in USD) year-on-year to RUB 131.6 bln (USD 2.3 bln) for the first half of 2015.
* Gross Profit increased by 17.5% (declined by 21.9% in USD) year-on-year to RUB 20.1 bln (USD 382.2 mln) in the second quarter of 2015, and grew by 18.0% (declined by 28.1% in USD) year-on-year to RUB 38.3 bln (USD 667.5 mln) for the first half of 2015.
* Gross Margin declined by 40 bp year-on-year to 29.6% in the second quarter of 2015.
* EBITDA declined by 3.9% (36.1% in USD) year-on-year to RUB 4.0 bln (USD 76.0 mln) in the second quarter of 2015, and decreased by 7.9% (43.9% in USD) year-on-year to RUB 6.8 bln (USD 118.7 mln) for the first half of 2015. EBITDA Margin declined by 140 bp year-on-year to 5.9% in the second quarter of 2015. * Net Profit declined by 27.0% (51.5% in USD) year-on-year to RUB 947.3 mln (USD 18.0 mln) in the second quarter of 2015.

Net Profit Margin declined by 90 bp year-on-year to 1.4% in the second quarter of 2015. 2 For the first half of 2015, the Company opened 271 stores on net basis and increased its selling space by 25% year-onyear.

In the second quarter of 2015, the Company continued to improve its price positioning, invest in customers’ loyalty and brand perception, and enlarged proposition of its private labels. The total number of goods under private labels reached 532 SKUs in the DIXY chain in June 2015.

The Company centralization level of deliveries for DIXY neighborhood stores was 90% in the second quarter of 2015. The logistic service level (success of deliveries ratio) stood at 91% in the second quarter of 2015.
