OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2015. It was an evening of luxury, designed to please the discerning tastes of a Lincoln customer.

Lincoln Panama invited 11 prominent lifestyle and automotive media representatives to test drive the Lincoln Navigator, MKC and MKZ Hybrid Aug. 26.

After a briefing on the vehicles’ attributes and learning about the concierge service Lincoln offers its customers, the group drove from the Lincoln dealership in Punta Pacifica – Panama’s first – to the elegant Mercao restaurant in Costa del Este, where the chef guided them in preparing a meal.

“Lincoln is synonymous with elegance and style, and it was important to us to provide the Panamanian media with an entire premium experience,” said Pablo Haase, managing director, Ford Puerto Rico, Caribbean and Central America. “Through this experience, our guests became a part of the elegant world that Lincoln presents.”

Despite being put to “work,” Olga Reyes of 4W magazine, Panama’s first publication to focus on that country’s luxury market, called it “an original, fun and enjoyable activity.”

The experience also pleased Elsa Romero of D’Luxury magazine. An article on the magazine’s web site read: “Not only the experience of the art of cooking, but to admire and feel the different Lincoln models, such as hybrid that fascinated me . . . for me it was an outstanding automotive experience, excellence of luxury and quality.”

Similar tributes were expressed by others in the group, with Rodrigo Larreynaga of Prime Life and Style magazine saying “It was a pleasure to be part of Lincoln’s world.”
