OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2015. UTair-Engineering, part of UTair Group, has received an order for modernization of 44th Mil family helicopter in 2015.

UTair-Engineering provides Mil helicopter upgrades in compliance with official requirements set by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant in order to enhance the model's modification, extend the overall lifespan of the rotorcraft, expand the range of its applications and improve its competitive advantages.

Helicopter modernization and performance improvement operations at UTair-Engineering include the replacement of radio equipment, installation of GLONASS/GPS onboard satellite navigation indicator, installation of satellite location tracking systems, equipping helicopters with ground proximity warning systems, new icing alert systems, installation of PU-S control panels for sending automatic rotorcraft location reports and urgent messages and other equipment.

UTair-Engineering General Director Vyacheslav Plyasukhin has said that the company’s order portfolio has been steadily growing and that UTair-Engineering’s large production and technical capabilities have allowed the company to continuously increase both the volume and the quality of services provided. Presently UTair Engineering’s portfolio includes orders for helicopter modernization and performance improvement from 58 Mi family helicopter operators.

UTair Engineering daily operations include servicing over 300 Mil Family helicopters, including Mi-26, Mi-171, Mi-8, Mi-8MTV-1 models, Ka-32T helicopters, An-2 aircraft, their systems and components, and foreign-built Airbus Helicopters EC-130В-4, AS-350, AS-355, and ВО-105, as well as Robinson R44 and AgustaWestland helicopters.
