The share of corporate sales has increased in the Russian car market
OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" by the results of 8 months of 2015 the share of passenger car sales to legal entities increased to a record 12%. Analysts say that for the last eight years (2007-2014 years), by which it is conducted a detailed analysis of sales and registrations, the share of legal entities was between 7% and 9% of the car market. This year, the share has increased by 3% at once. In the segment of light commercial vehicles (LCV) there is an increase in sales to legal entities from the usual 45-50% to a record 60%.
In the passenger car segment, the highest share of sales to legal entities is belonged to the two German premium brands BMW and Mercedes-Benz - 30% and 29%, respectively. Exactly a quarter (25%) of cars are registered to legal entities at UAZ. The high share of corporate sales also belonged to Skoda (24%), Land Rover (24%), Ford (22%), Audi (21%) and Porsche (20%). But least of all the corporate parcs are fulfilled by Chinese cars (Geely, Haima, Brilliance, Chery, Great Wall), as well as SsangYong and Datsun. These brands have the share for registration of legal entities in the range from 2 to 4%.
According to the director of analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", Sergey Tselikov, the growth in the share of corporate sales can be associated with the active development of car leasing. Thus, among the top-100 companies with the largest procurement of vehicles, about 30% is leasing companies. Among them the largest are ALD-Automotive, Arval Evroplan and, in each of them for the first 8 months 2015 it was registered more than 1,000 of passenger cars. Also, this year it is updating actively the parcs of taxi service, representatives of wholesale and large manufacturers.
