BASF Presents Series Of Chemical Technologies
OREANDA-NEWS. BASF Global Oilfield Solutions will showcase its range of new, innovative chemical solutions for the upstream oil and gas industry market at the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) on September 28 - 30, 2015 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
This year BASF will take the opportunity to present and demonstrate innovations for upstream applications segments including:
Pyrolase(r) Cellulase, Pyrolase(r) HT Cellulase, and Eradicake(r): High temperature performance enzymes that are environmental friendly solutions for stimulation and drilling. With the acquisition of Verenium in 2013, BASF has strengthened its enzyme expertise in the oilfield market.
Basolon(r) IN 40: A non-scaling and non-amine based alternative for H2S scavenging.
BasoMSA: A stable acid with superior performance at high temperatures that exhibits outstanding corrosion behavior on high alloy steels and has an excellent environmental and safety profile.
Polytrol(r) FL 45: A fluid loss additive that provides a high level of flexibility designing slurry compositions to match individual wellbore conditions.
Aspiro(tm): Combines strong expertise in polymers and surfactants under one brand, to improve cost efficiency of enhanced oil recovery operations in a large variety of field conditions, including the more challenging and untapped reservoirs.
Additionally, BASF will be highlighting application specific presentations at booth 3103 for production, stimulation, drilling, cementing and enhanced oil recovery.
"The significant drop in the oil price has created challenging conditions for the entire value chain. This volatility results in an increased need for lower cost solutions with enhanced efficiency," said Justine Smith, Vice President Global Oilfield Solutions, BASF. "Our product portfolio, as highlighted at the ATCE trade show, can help to maximize efficiency and increase business development opportunities with our customers. We are working closely with our customers in the oil and gas sector to explore and find these potentials, and, ultimately, help them manage through the cycle."
Customers and visitors at the booth have the opportunity to discuss and exchange with an international team of BASF experts on the latest innovations and the existing range of proven, high-quality products for drilling, cementing, stimulation, production and enhanced oil recovery.
