Georgia's Foreign Trade Turnover Dropped by 14% in January-August
OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data of the National Statistics Office of Georgia - GeoStat, in January-August 2015, foreign trade turnover of Georgia totaled USD 6 395 million (excluding spontaneous trade), by 14% less than in the same period of 2014.
Export in the reporting period made about USD 1 459 million (by 24% less), while import - USD 4 937 million (by 10% less).
The negative trading balance of Georgia totaled USD 3478 million, that made 54% of the total foreign trade turnover.
