OREANDA-NEWS. Joint Stock Company Freight One (Freight One) has appointed Alexander Pechurin Chief Operations Officer ­-Head of Transportation Department.

In his new position Alexander Pechurin will manage the Company?s operations activities by arranging traffic and rolling stock logistics.

«The resolution on appointment was adopted by Freight One Management Board in terms of the strategy to improve the Company?s operations efficiency. Given the impressive experience in the industry and professional competence of Alexander Pechurin, we expect this appointment to strengthen coordination among the Company units under his supervision,» said Oleg Bukin, CEO of Freight One, commenting on the occasion.

Alexander Pechurin was born in 1973 in the city of Orel. In 1994 he graduated from the Lipetsk Polytechnic Institute as an organization and management transport engineer. On the South Eastern Railway he started as a signalman to become deputy chief of the transportation unit of the Yelets Branch. In 2002 he joined the Independent Transport Company, where he served as CEO since February 2012. In September 2012 Alexander Pechurin was appointed Head of Transportation Department of Freight One.
