OREANDA-NEWS. IBM (NYSE: IBM) has been named to Working Mother's 100 Best Companies list for the 30th consecutive year. IBM is one of only two companies listed since the initiative launched.
IBM was awarded for outstanding leadership in work life policies and programs that support families such as flexible work schedules, paid parental leave, child care support, and leadership training and opportunities for women. The honor coincides with Working Mother's 30th year measuring companies on their benefits for working families. Johnson & Johnson is the other company included in the Working Mother 100 Best Companies list for 30 consecutive years.

According to Diane Gherson, IBM Senior Vice President of Human Resources, "IBM has long been at the forefront of  progressive programs for working mothers. We introduced paid family leave in the 1950s, flexible work options in the 1980s and this month, a concierge-like milk delivery service for nursing mothers. All of these efforts are part of IBM’s commitment to offering a workplace where IBMers can thrive personally and professionally. We are honored to have been recognized by Working Mothers magazine for the 30th consecutive year.”
