OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 September 2015, the Bank of Russia approved amendments to the plan for participation of the state corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (hereinafter, the Agency) in bankruptcy prevention of the joint-stock company Volga-Oka Commercial Bank or JSC VOCBANK (registration number - 302, the city of Nizhny Novgorod).

JSC VOCBANK was initially provided with funds to maintain liquidity in the amount sufficient for timely settlements with the creditors and its continuous operation.

The plan envisages a tender to select an investor to carry out financial rehabilitation of the bank. The winner will be the entity to offer the most favourable conditions for JSC VOCBANK financial rehabilitation.
