OREANDA-NEWS. AREVA has been awarded a contract to perform outage services over several years at Isar 2, Brokdorf and Grohnde nuclear power plants in Germany.

This contract includes maintenance and in-service inspections of the primary circuit components, opening and closing of the reactor pressure vessel as well as refueling activities.

This agreement reinforces a long-lasting cooperation with E.ON,“ said Michael Cerruti, Sales Executive Vice-President of AREVA’s Reactors and Services Business Group.

Isar 2 nuclear power plant has a net output of 1,410 MW and is located in Essenbach, Bavaria. Brokdorf nuclear power plant, with a net output of 1,410 MW, is located in Schleswig-Holstein. Grohnde nuclear power plant, located in Lower Saxony, has a net output of 1,360 MW.
