OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2015. More than 50 Woodruff Arts Center leaders, top donors and Delta people gathered Thursday evening to celebrate the opening of the newest Delta SKY360? Club at the Memorial Arts Building in Atlanta.

The new SKY360 Club is Delta’s first hospitality space at a performing arts venue and will be open to high-level donors for all evening performances by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Alliance Theatre. The Club will open one hour before show time and remain open for one hour after the performances.

During the opening ceremony, guests joined Tad Hutcheson, Vice President – Community Affairs, and Virginia Hepner, President and CEO of the Woodruff Arts Center, for a toast to celebrate the partnership.

“As Atlanta’s hometown airline, Delta is committed to investing in the premiere arts institution that is meaningful to our customers and important to this city,” Hutcheson said.

The Delta SKY360 Club features an innovative artistic space, unique among Delta SKY360? Clubs. The atmosphere harkens to a New York City theatre lounge as sections of backdrops from past Alliance Theatre productions drape the walls. Inside, the Club offers complimentary snacks, a specialty bar serving beverages for purchase and a respite for high-level individual and corporate supporters attending Atlanta Symphony and Alliance Theatre performances.

The private opening ceremony preceded the public season opening of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s 71st season and the Alliance Theatre’s production of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”.

The Woodruff Arts Center is one of the largest arts centers in the world, home to the Tony Award-winning Alliance Theatre, the Grammy Award-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the High Museum of Art, the leading art museum in the Southeast. Each year, these centers host more than 1.2 million patrons at the Woodruff Arts Center’s Midtown Atlanta location, one of the only arts centers in the U.S. to host both visual and performing arts on a single campus.

The Woodruff Arts Center also offers educational programming through each of its arts partners. Through their combined efforts, The Woodruff Arts Center serves more than 200,000 students annually; is the largest arts educator in Georgia and is a premier family destination.

The Delta SKY360? Club at the Woodruff Arts Center joins a growing list of other Delta hospitality spaces in venues such as Madison Square Garden, CenturyLink Field, Yankee Stadium, and the soon-to-be-opened SunTrust Park in metro Atlanta. For decades, Delta has ranked among the most committed supporters of Atlanta’s Woodruff Arts Center, Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art.
