OREANDA-NEWS. Andriy Kobolyev, CEO of Naftogaz, and Alexei Miller, CEO of Gazprom, met in Vienna this Wednesday to discuss terms of a new Winter Package, including a possible cooperation format during the winter season of 2015-2016. The parties agreed to continue talks next week.

"We have discussed key principles of the new trilateral agreement. I welcome the constructive approach of the Russian side. It helped us to move closer to a consensus on a number of issues", Andriy Kobolyev said.

The interim agreement between Naftogaz and Gazprom that regulated terms of supply of Russian gas to Ukraine expired on 30 June 2015. Naftogaz is not purchasing gas from the Russian supplier since 1 July 2015.
