E.ON Kernkraft GmbH: two new members of Board of Management appointed
Future PreussenElektra still operates three nuclear power plants (Brokdorf, Grohnde, Isar 2) and holds minority stakes in another three operating units. Of the five units already shut down, the power plants W?rgassen and Stade are currently being dismantled.
Guido Knott has been Head of Political Affairs and Corporate Communications at E.ON SE since 2010. Prior to that he held various leadership roles in the Group, including CFO of E.ON Hanse AG and Senior Vice President of E.ON Energie AG.
Jan Homan has been appointed with effect from 1 October 2015 as member of the Board of Management of E.ON Kernkraft. In his new role he will be in charge of the company’s new nuclear decommissioning and dismantling division.
Before joining E.ON, Jan Homan had been Head of the unit “Projects” at Vattenfall Europe with overall responsibility for the planning and execution of major asset projects since 2014. Prior to that he was in charge of Vattenfall’s “Thermal Power & Heat” unit.
E.ON Kernkraft’s current CEO, Ralf G?ldner, will be retiring at his own request in the course of next year. From the beginning of next year, he will support the new Board of Management during the transition phase.
