Ford Among Readers Digest Most Trusted Brands
More than 4,500 Americans across the nation participated in the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Survey, which awarded “Most Trusted Brand” status to winners in 40 product categories, including hair color, vitamin supplement, laundry detergent, coffee retailer and others.
Trust plays an important role in consumer decision making, the online survey revealed, with 79 percent of respondents saying they would choose a brand that’s been deemed “trusted” over another brand when quality and price are similar.
The findings, pulled from an Ipsos Connect study conducted for Reader’s Digest between March 5 and March 20, 2015, sampled 4,503 U.S. adults with a credibility interval of plus or minus 1.7 percent. Data are weighted to U.S. Census data. Winning brands were determined by an absolute vote and confirmed to be statistically significant from the other brands.
