On Results of Examination of Financial Standing of CB Edinstvenniy
OREANDA-NEWS. The provisional administration of CB Edinstvenniy appointed by Bank of Russia Order No. OD-889, dated 24 April 2015, due to the revocation of its banking licence revealed in the course of examination of the credit institution’s financial standing operations carried out by the bank’s former management which bear the evidence of moving out the assets through extending loans worth over 1 billion rubles to companies with dubious solvency.
Besides, the former management of the bank failed to provide the provisional administration with the originals of credit agreements signed with legal entities-borrowers in the amount of over 500 million rubles.
According to the estimates of the provisional administration, the value of assets of CB Edinstvenniy does not exceed 52 million rubles, while its liabilities to creditors amount to 770 million rubles.
On 30 June 2015, the Court of Arbitration of Moscow took a decision to recognise CB Edinstvenniy insolvent (bankrupt) and to initiate bankruptcy proceedings with the state corporation Deposit Insurance Agency appointed as a receiver.
The Bank of Russia submitted information on the financial transactions bearing the evidence of the criminal offences conducted by the former management and owners of CB Edinstvenniy to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation for consideration and procedural decision making.
