OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of Thalassa announces the appointment of Emma Godding as Sales Director of its wholly owned subsidiary, WGP Group Ltd.

Emma has 20 years' experience in the marine geophysical industry. Most recently, she was Head of Marine Sales at CGG Asia Pacific for Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. Prior to that, she held a number of sales positions at Fugro Geoteam operating from regional offices in Australia, Norway and the UK.

She holds a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia and a Master's degree in Marine Geotechnics from the University of Wales.

Duncan Soukup, Chairman of Thalassa, said: "Emma's appointment will hopefully transform WGP from a reactive into a proactive supplier of seismic solutions in the Oil & Gas industry. Emma has a wealth of industry knowledge and I am delighted to welcome her to the WGP Group where she will report to Mark Burnett, CEO."
