OREANDA-NEWS. The company "Subaru Motor" this autumn will begin sales of an updated all-wheel drive crossover XV. At the same time for the 15th anniversary of its Russian distributor, Subaru has produced a special version of the model that is different from other markets and it will bear the name - Subaru XV Active Edition. The first cars will be available in September of this year at all brand dealerships. Prices for new items will be announced closer to start of sales, informed the press service of "Subaru Motor".

Subaru XV of 2015 model year is equipped with 2-liter gasoline engine and a continuously variable transmission Lineartronic. The main differences between models are more energy-intensive (reduced body roll), and comfortable suspension, optimized steering. In addition, it was improved insulation, and thanks to an updated system of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) it was optimized combustion and reduced fuel consumption.

The car is equipped with a new multimedia system with a color LCD display and touch controls as the control of smart phones.

As for the updates in the interior, Subaru XV of 2015 model year has changed controls on the steering wheel and controls climate control, there appeared a silver bezel ducts and the ignition key has got a new design.

In addition, the version of the Subaru XV for Russia has a number of features in the design of interior and exterior. Among them – there are the wheels XV Active Edition, decorated with caps as a stellar ellipse Subaru. The front seat head restraints are embroidered with the logo of the model. Saloon of car has a bright orange stitching and laths as the carbons that distinguish a car among standard configurations XV. Also, a special version has the seats, upholstered with special fabric with water-repellent coating.

The model is available in two versions of exterior colors: blue (Deep Sea Blue Pearl) and orange (Tangerine Orange Pearl).
