OREANDA-NEWS. Alstom has been awarded Prime Status by the Germany-based Oekom Research in its 2015 Corporate Rating as one of global leading companies for corporate social responsibility (CSR) within the industry segment of machinery/electrical equipment. The company has maintained Prime Status for three years since 2012. Being classified as “Prime” means that Alstom’s tradeable bonds and shares will qualify for sustainable investments from their customers. According to Oekom, Alstom’s key strengths lie mainly in health and safety on the social side, and in eco-efficiency of products, resource-conserving production, product responsibility on the environmental side.
