Jean-Baptiste Eyméoud is nominated Senior Vice President of Alstom Transport France
OREANDA-NEWS. Jean-Baptiste Eyméoud is joining Alstom Transport as Senior Vice President France at the beginning of October. In this capacity, he is also a member of the Executive Committee of Alstom Transport.
In his new role, Jean-Baptiste will lead the France region which counts nearly 9000 employees spread over 12 sites. His main priorities include improving customer satisfaction and maintaining the workload of the French production sites. He will ensure the proper execution of projects for France, as well as projects destined for export markets executed on French sites.
Born in 1967, Jean-Baptiste Eyméoud is a graduate of Ecole Centrale Paris and ESC Tours. He began his career at Saint Gobain before joining Alcatel-Alstom, then GEC ALSTOM in 1992. He was involved in the TGV project in South Korea, then joined international commercial management before being nominated Vice President Sales and Marketing Europe at Alstom Transport in 2000 and becoming Managing Director for North and East Europe from 2003 to 2006.
Between 2006 and 2015 he held various positions at Bombardier Transport. Notably, he was in charge of projects for rolling stock and services in Western Europe and of supervising industrial sites before being nominated President of Bombardier Transport France.
