OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ plans to present a new brand-book in September, and the first car dealers Lada with a new corporate style can appear already in October. It was informed by the Director of Sales of cars of AvtoVAZ, Vitaly Osipov, but he did not disclose details. Total AvtoVAZ has 348 dealers now in Russia, informed the newspaper "Vedomosti". By taking into account the decline in the market and reduction of the revenues, the company is going to use a leasing scheme to bring the dealerships under the new corporate requirements.

In January-August of 2015, the Russian Lada sales fell by 26%, the market declined by 33.5%, according to the AEB. At the end of 2015 in Russia it was sold 1.35 million new passenger cars (minus 43%, based on the evaluations of the agency "AUTOSTAT"), while the share of Lada will be approximately 20%, that is to be sold about 270 thousand units (-30%), according to Mr.Osipov. In 2016 AvtoVAZ expects sales at the same level, he adds.

Now AvtoVAZ is preparing for serial production of new passenger cars - Lada Vesta (the production starts from September 25th, sales – in two months), Lada Xray (the production starts in mid-December of 2015, the sales - in February of 2016). At the current rate of the ruble the starting price of Vesta would be 495,000 rubles, noted Mr.Osipov.
