KAMAZ predicts a decline in sales by 25-28% in Russia in 2015
OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ predicts the decline of its sales in 2015 by 25-28% to 28-29 thousand units against 38.9 thousand vehicles of year before. It was announced by General Director of KAMAZ, Sergey Kogogin, by noting that exports this year could grow by 10% to about 7,000 trucks. Therefore, domestic sales were 21-22 thousand vehicles, and a drop in 2014 may reach 32-35%, wrote the agency "Tass."
According to Mr. Kogogin, the whole Russian market of trucks with GVW of 14 tonnes can be no more than 39 thousand units. "The depth of the fall is very high - up to 69%", - he said.
In addition, KAMAZ expects to reduce the earnings under IFRS by 9.6% to 100 billion rubles in 2015, said Mr. Kogogin. According to him, the revenue will decrease less than sales due to the rising prices in export markets and for the vehicles of the updated model range.
