IDGC of Centre is ready to ensure reliable power supply of polling stations of the CFD subjects on a single day of voting on 13 September
The power company has made a list of polling stations, connected to the grid of the branches and checked the circuit of power supply.
In total, on the Election Day IDGC of Centre will provide power supply to more than seven thousand sites, the largest number of them is located in the Voronezh and Belgorod regions (1,561 and 1,223 stations, respectively). Now experts of the branches have completed extraordinary inspections of electrical installations, which will supply power. Power supply for socially significant facilities and broadcasting centres was additionally tested. Technical condition and ready-to-use back-up power sources were checked. The scheme of communication and the order of interaction with the regional department of the FSB, the Interior Ministry and Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, as well as messaging and staff calling in case of emergencies. Additional briefings were conducted with the staff, first responding and restoration crews were enhanced.
10 September all branches of IDGC of Centre in connection with the single day of voting were put on high alert operation mode. In order to bring the power supply circuit in a state of maximum reliability all scheduled repair work will be cancelled, there will be a ban on switching to the existing electrical installations. In the workplaces the around the clock duty of technical managers and specialists, operating and maintenance personnel will be organized.
In case of need to involve into work on the elimination of possible technological failures of power supply in the regions of the service area of IDGC of Centre on the single day of voting about five thousand specialists and more than 400 special vehicles may be attracted.
