OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2015. Donor Day and a concert were held in Krasnoyarsk in support of the Russian Ministry of Healthcare and Federal Biomedical Agency Blood and Blood Component Donation Promotion Program. The events were a part of the MUZARTERY Roadshow project, a national music competition sponsored by general partner UTair Aviation. The Roadshow is currently touring through 20 Russian cities, bringing blood donation supporters together across the nation. Krasnoyarsk is the fifteenth city to welcome the tour.

UTair flew project participants to the capital of the Krasnoyarsk region where the fifteenth Donor Day took place at a special mobile blood donation unit set up at a picturesque park on Tatyshev Island. The local Youth Projects Promotion Center Vectortook an active role in the event. The Donor Day event was followed by a concert with performances from popular Krasnoyarsk bands TheWhoas! and Tvoe Daleko. T-Killah, MUZARTERY-2015 finalist Arevik Bagdasaryan and Sol’ band – the youngest Roadshow participants – joined the event with special guest performances.

In addition, general partner UTair welcomed MUZARTERY participants at a special photo zone near the main stage throughout the day to take a picture with famous artists or make their own creative photo for submission to a photo contest. The first prize for best picture went to Sergey Pastukh who received a certificate for a free flight to any selected destination within UTair’s extensive route network.

The MUZARTERY national music contest is one of the most prominent youth-oriented projects organized under the auspices of the State Blood and Blood Components Donation Promotion Program. The event inspires hundreds of talented song writers, musicians and performers to create new compositions dedicated to the cause of blood donation.

MUZARTERY is not the only project of the Russian Ministry of Healthcare and Federal Biomedical Agency joined by UTair Aviation. In 2014 UTair helped organize the Air Marathon for a Good Cause, a series of blood donation events along a more than 30,000 km long route across Russia. In 2015 UTair provided support for the 70 Years of Victory Blood Drive running through five Hero Cities and Cities of Military Glory across the country. More than 1,500 people participated in the donor movement in that period.

UTair encourages everyone to see MUZARTERY in their home city. The MUZARTERY tour map and schedule can be found at the program's official website.
