OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2015. Lada Kalina by the results of August entered the "top ten" of best-selling models in the Russian market. Among the cars of AvtoVAZ only the traditional best-sellers in their segments appeared ahead - "low-cost " Granta and estate car Largus.

As it was noted in the review of the Russian car market for August, the best-selling model in Russia is Hyundai Solaris with the index of 10581 vehicles (+ 16.5%). The second place was occupied by Lada Granta, whose sales were 9070 cars (-23.5%). The third result was shown by renewed KIA Rio - 8989 sold cars (+ 49.8%).

Then two models of Renault follow - the sedan Logan (3654 units, -17.7%) and Duster that got back the leadership in the segment of SUVs (3496 units, -20.1%). The best-seller in the market of estate cars is Lada Largus, which was sold in the amount of 3418 units (-3.8%). Sales of the updated sedan Volkswagen Polo in the last month were 3234 units (-18.7%). Chevrolet Niva SUVs was sold in amount of 3,059 units – it is more by 19.4% than a year before. Sedan Nissan Almera found 2997 buyers, which is less by 21.6% than a year ago. TOP-10 of best-selling models in Russia is closed by Lada Kalina, the sales of which were 2716 cars (-36.4%).
