OREANDA-NEWS. For the second time in a row Deutsche Telekom has been recognized as a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Managed M2M Services. Gartner evaluated against the two strategic axes ‘completeness of vision‘ and ‚ability to execute‘ with focus on cellular connectivity and related value-added services. Gartner states that „the use of managed M2M services is an important element of many Internet of Things solutions”.

“The recognition is especially exciting for us as we believe it acknowledges our aim to be the best choice for our customers to connect things. This covers not only high quality global access but also a horizontal Application Enabling Platform and end-to-end solutions. A good example for our horizontal services is the “Cloud of Things” platform which allows our customers to easily connect and manage their assets worldwide, a fact that was also acknowledged in the report,” says Alexander Lautz, Senior Vice President, Machine-to-Machine, Deutsche Telekom.
