OREANDA-NEWS. Wood Group is providing detailed engineering, procurement and other services to Flint Hills Resources Corpus Christi, LLC (FHR) for its Eagle Ford modification project at its West refinery in South Texas. The project will enable the refinery to process 100 per cent US crude, primarily from the Eagle Ford shale region, into transportation fuels.

Wood Group Mustang successfully completed the conceptual and front-end engineering design phases of the project and is now providing detail engineering, procurement services, module fabrication oversight and construction engineering support services.  Work is being conducted in Houston and Bogota, Colombia, via a collaborative work share model that provides an efficient, effective solution for FHR.

Engineering is scheduled to be completed in mid-2016.
