Ukraine and Poland set up Youth Exchange Council
OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2015. In the framework of the official trip to Warsaw Ukraine’s Governmental delegation signed an Agreement on the Ukrainian-Polish Youth Exchange Council.
The document is aimed to establish a mechanism for bilateral cooperation in youth exchanges and deepening ties among young people of the two countries.
The deal between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland was inked by Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Ihor Zhdanov and Minister of National Education of Poland Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska in the presence of Heads of Governments of the two countries.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed that the agreement provides an opportunity to "create real conditions and to ensure funding" for exchanges of young people: "To give chance to Polish young people to travel to Lviv and Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk, and the time will come when they can travel to Donetsk, Luhansk and Simferopol. And the same, to Ukrainian youth to tour across Poland."
"This is the best way towards European integration," he added.
"Youth is the most precious we have in each of our countries", summed up Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
