OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2015. Chef Cyril Lignac has just launched his kitchenware range, which will initially be available exclusively at Carrefour hypermarket in supermarkets. This collaboration will include two highlights: a special promotional campaign with his kitchenware range available at a 70% discount; Cyril's challenge for all cooking enthusiasts, starting 8 September.

Starting 8 September, Cyril Lignac and Carrefour will be joining forces and launching a major challenge for amateur chefs. Using 3 prescribed ingredients and a utensil from the "Chef's Range", participants will have 3 weeks to come up with the best recipe they can and try their luck at winning major prizes. Carrefour gift vouchers worth €4000 and €1000 will be awarded to the winner and to the 1st finalist, respectively. And all finalists will be given a product from the Cyril Lignac range, together with a signed copy of his recipe book. To enter, the recipe, together with a photo, will need to be uploaded onto www.ledefidecyril.fr, as well as shared on the social networks*. For each of the 3 challenges, the 5 recipes that get the most number of "likes" will be presented to the chef. He will then select two finalists for each challenge based on the photos!
There will be three challenges, each involving three ingredients selected by the chef: 8 September, 1 October and 24 October. On 8 December, the 6 finalists (2 for each challenge) will get to meet Cyril Lignac at a special event held in his kitchen for a final challenge during which the winner will be chosen!

*an additional 150 likes will be immediately awarded to participants who post selfies showing them with a saucepan from the “Chefs’ Range".
