OREANDA-NEWS. Joint Stock Company Freight One (Freight One) has launched industrial logistics services at the site of LLC Stavrolen (subsidiary of LUKOIL), the largest petrochemical enterprise in the city of Budennovsk, Stavropol Krai.

As part of the project, a new structural unit in Budennovsk was created on the basis of Freight One's Rostov Branch. The unit has manned the staff to include factory transport employees, and has rented 6 locomotives and an access track.

Functionally, Freight One's services include shunting operations on the factory access track, receipt and dispatch operations, execution of shipping documents, access track maintenance, technical servicing and arrangement of repairs for the locomotives. In addition, Freight One provides boxcar preparation services before the manufacturer's finished products are loaded.

Priority actions at the Stavrolen industrial site include introduction of shift-day planning at the railway workshop, which showed good results when Freight One installed industrial logistics at the Nizhniye Sergi Hardware & Steel Works. The system allows for building a shift-by-shift railcar loading and unloading plan basing on production output for a period of up to two days, thereby raising the speed and efficiency of production and traffic at the enterprise.

"We won the LUKOIL tender to launch the Stavrolen service project in Budennovsk. I am sure that Freight One's experience and competence gained at the sites of NLMK Group will let us cut the costs and improve the quality of internal logistics functions at this petrochemical factory. We plan to keep up active promotion of this service product due to its great potential and demand in the market," said Alexander Sapronov, Executive Director of Freight One, commenting on the event.
